It’s as simple as just having a love for music. The shop first opened in 2021, initially based in Walkden. (Though we’ve since moved 10 minutes down the East Lancs Road to Spinners Mill in Leigh (Manchester), operating here since March of 2023). Before this, I worked an office job, which felt like a bit of a dead end. On reflection, it was a good thing; it’s what gave me the motivation to take the plunge! I love having a space for people to pick up their favourite records and have the opportunity to turn them onto their new favourites. It’s a really rewarding thing.
