Having backgrounds in the music industry, one as a drummer and the other as a tour manager, both shared a vision for a local space in the city dedicated to the enjoyment of purchasing records. After extensive discussions during numerous car rides, they took the plunge. Vinilo Record Store emerged in August 2017, and Southampton rediscovered its passion for records.
